Pro-trading company 1cft – analysis and opinion of the platform for traders

Investing is not only a way to multiply savings, but also an opportunity to achieve financial independence. The decision to start investing is often associated with the desire to better manage your capital and build a stable future. For some, it is a method to secure retirement, for others – a chance to achieve specific goals. However, it is worth remembering that investing requires knowledge, the right strategy and conscious risk-taking.

The sense of investing

Investing is a way to increase your savings. People don’t want their money to sit idle. They want them to work. By investing, you have a chance to multiply your capital, not just store it. Keeping money in a savings account does not always bring real profits. Or rather, it does not bring them at all – inflation eats them up. Investments are a way to protect the value of money and potential profit.

But everyone has different motivations. For some, it is a chance for a better retirement. Others want to achieve financial independence faster. There are also those who dream of implementing large projects: buying an apartment, trips around the world or starting a business. Whatever the goal, investing gives them hope that they can achieve it faster.

There is no clear answer as to whether it is worth doing. Investments involve risk. You can gain, but also lose. Despite this, many people choose this path. Why? Because sticking only to safe forms of saving does not bring spectacular results. Investing is a way to take on a challenge that can pay off more in the long run than traditional methods.

The desire to get higher returns than on bank deposits is one of the main motivations of people who start investing. However, there are more: financial development, learning new skills or the possibility of diversification. Each of these things gives you a sense of control over your finances. With investing, you decide what happens to your money.

But remember: lack of experience can make costly mistakes. Investing requires knowledge, a plan, and patience. Without it, it is easy to get discouraged and withdraw. Therefore, before you invest, think about the goal. Analyze your options and the risks you are willing to take. Investing is a marathon, not a sprint.

And remember that every decision should be conscious. Invest prudently and according to your means.

Enter the world of investment

The first step in the world of investment is to gain knowledge. Without it, it is easy to make mistakes. Before you invest your first money, take the time to learn the basics. Learn about different financial instruments: stocks, bonds, funds or real estate. Find out how they work, what profits they bring and what the risks entail. You don’t have to reach for complicated books right away. Start with simple sources – articles, podcasts, and online courses.

Before you decide where to put your money, ask yourself: “Why am I investing?”. Do you want to secure the future? Or maybe you want to raise funds for a specific purchase faster? The goal influences the choice of investment strategy. If you think long-term, you will focus on more stable assets. When you dream of quick profits, you will look for more dynamic investments. The goal determines the direction – without it, it’s easy to get lost.

Every investment involves risk. This is the basics you need to understand. There are no guaranteed profits. Even the best plan can fail. Therefore, do not invest all your money at once. Start small. Test. Check. Understand how each instrument works before committing more funds. Also, remember not to invest money that you cannot afford to lose. This is the simplest rule of thumb to protect your capital.

You don’t have to become an expert right away. Investing is a process. The more you know, the less risk you take. Therefore, invest in your education as well. Browse verified sources. Avoid “experts” promising quick fortunes. Instead, focus on practical advice and reliable analysis. Look for information that will help you build a solid foundation.

Don’t wait for the “perfect moment”, because it may never come. Start small. Open a brokerage account, choose your first stock or index fund. Observe how prices change, analyze, draw conclusions. Every action is a lesson. Mistakes are a natural part of this learning, so don’t be afraid to make them. The sooner you start, the sooner you will gain experience.

When starting your adventure with investing, remember that it is a journey that requires time and commitment. Well-planned first steps will make your later decisions easier and minimize the risk.

Investing with the 1CFT platform

1CFT operates as a proprietary trading company and offers several programme options designed for traders with different levels of experience. The current offer is divided into Basic, Advanced and VIP accounts, which differ in the number of evaluation stages, available account sizes, trading objectives and risk parameters.

The route to a funded account depends on the selected programme. With a Basic account, a trader must successfully complete two challenge stages before moving to the Live Funded phase. An Advanced account requires one challenge before the Live Funded stage, while a VIP account allows the trader to start directly in the funded phase. This means that the evaluation process is not identical for every 1CFT user.

The detailed trading conditions also depend on the chosen programme and account size. According to the current programme tables, the minimum number of trading days is four. Basic accounts use leverage of 1:50, while Advanced accounts currently also use 1:50. VIP accounts offer different leverage levels depending on the selected account, ranging from 1:50 to 1:100 and, in the highest listed variant, up to 1:200.

1CFT provides access to Forex, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies and stocks. The company also allows different trading approaches, including discretionary trading, hedging and Expert Advisors. However, this flexibility is still subject to the rules contained in the Trader Agreement. Practices such as exploiting pricing or platform errors, using certain third-party strategies designed specifically to pass evaluation accounts, or arbitraging one account against another may result in the account being closed.

Once the required evaluation stage or stages have been completed, depending on the programme, the trader may receive access to a funded account. At this stage, the profit target no longer applies in the same way as during the evaluation phase, although risk-management rules and loss limits remain in force.

A funded account should not be understood as the transfer of the displayed account balance to the trader. According to the 1CFT Trader Agreement, the capital in a Funded Account may be notional and may differ from the actual amount of capital deposited with the broker. The nominal account size determines the trading level and the parameters applicable to the account.

Traders can participate in the positive performance generated on eligible funded accounts. The current offer generally provides an 80/20 performance split in favour of the trader, while the highest listed VIP variant offers a 90/10 split.

The programme fee is generally a one-time payment rather than a recurring subscription. However, the conditions for returning the initial fee depend on the selected programme. In many current Basic, Advanced and VIP variants, the programme tables state that an audition fee return is not included. Selected higher-tier VIP accounts provide for a refund once the first profit payout reaches 25% of the funded account size.

Analysis and opinion – 1CFT prop trading platform

1CFT should primarily be considered a proprietary trading company rather than a traditional investment broker. The company explicitly states that it is not a broker and does not accept customer deposits.

Its model is based on providing traders with access to structured evaluation programmes and funded accounts subject to defined risk-management rules. The current structure gives users a choice between Basic, Advanced and VIP programmes instead of requiring every trader to follow the same evaluation path.

The Basic programme follows the longest evaluation route and requires the completion of two challenges before the Live Funded phase. Advanced reduces the process to one challenge, while VIP allows traders to enter the funded phase directly. This gives users the ability to select a route that better matches their experience and preferred account structure.

Trading conditions vary between programmes. Current account tables specify different account sizes, profit targets, maximum overall and daily loss limits, leverage levels and performance splits. A four-day minimum trading requirement is currently listed in the programme tables.

Most current funded variants provide an 80/20 performance split in favour of the trader, while one of the highest-tier VIP options provides a 90/10 split. Leverage is generally set at 1:50, with selected VIP accounts offering 1:100 or 1:200.

Another important feature is access to several market categories, including Forex, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies and stocks. Traders may use discretionary strategies, hedging and Expert Advisors, provided that their trading activity complies with the applicable programme rules and Trader Agreement.

The nominal size of a funded account should also be distinguished from capital owned by the trader. 1CFT‘s Trader Agreement explains that funded accounts may use notional funding, meaning that the nominal account size can differ from the amount of actual capital held with the broker.

For this reason, traders considering 1CFT should compare more than simply the advertised account balance. The number of evaluation stages, profit targets, loss limits, leverage, minimum trading-day requirements, performance split and fee-return conditions can all differ depending on the selected programme.

1CFT currently offers a structured prop-trading model with several routes to the funded stage. Basic, Advanced and VIP accounts provide different levels of entry and evaluation, while the funded phase gives eligible traders the opportunity to participate in the performance generated on the account, subject to the applicable risk-management rules and programme conditions.
